For my capstone project, I decided to combine all of my interests into one project. I incorporated my love for creating magazines, trend reporting, art direction, and creative direction all in one final product. I decided to conceptualize a magazine for the makeup brand, Lime Crime. This brand stands out from all other beauty brands for their unconventional lip colors and branding. The Lime Crime Beauty Bible showcases all Lime Crime products inspired by the Zodiac signs.

“Shop the Looks!” booklet promotes all the assortment of Lime Crime products used for the Lime Crime Beauty Bible.
These digital art works for the Lime Crime Beauty Bible publication are based on the 12 zodiac signs and inspired by the color trends this season.
For this Trends and Forecasting project we had to recreate an existing magazine and conceptualize a theme that best described the color trends for the season. We chose to recreate V Magazine, and replicate V’s iconic style. We chose to name this edition “Prism” analyzing colors and their effect and its transition onto fashion. As Art Director I was in charge of the concept and the layout of the magazine planning it carefully in order for this magazine to come together into the final product. Besides the Art direction I was in charge of the creative direction for the “Technicolor” editorial in which the theme of the story was CMYK colors working along the way with Savannah native character Lazanya Ontre , photography by Matt Slade.
In this project we were required to create a fashion film with a visual narrative that tells a story. We chose to exhibit a look book in an experimental way. We chose to present “The Jinx” a video presenting Saint Laurent products. In this fashion film I served as the Art director conceptualizing a narrative that represented the Saint Laurent brand, working along the way with the cast and crew to create the vision we had in mind to promote the Saint Laurent product.
For this Retail Management project we were required to introduce a brand to a country. We were required to create a Pop-up shop in which we collaborated with both interior design and architecture students to create the design. This space was design as a show room to display all the COS products.
P.S. We worked on this project and later found out that on Summer 2016 they will be opening the first COS store in Malaysia.
For this Contemporary Issues in Fashion Marketing class we studied the current situation of the Fashion industry. Sustainability was a topic we had to analyze and discuss. We had to fabricate a sustainable product using found objects. We decided to create a head piece “Marinus” for the designer Alexander McQueen. We created a head piece out of old plastic cups, plastic bottles and plastic plates, addressing the plastic waste in the oceans. As art director I was in charge of the design and creation of the final product and the vision of the promotional video we created for the project.

To promote this sustainable headpiece we created a short video, which I was in charge of the creative direction, showing off the head gear with the Alexander McQueen brand and aesthetic in mind.
These are the visual inspiration and representation of the mood I wanted to create for different projects, combining different images and elements implementing design elements to create one final image.
Color trend report analysis based on current color trends. Each color story was given a concept and mood images to further explain the colorways and how they translate in accessories and RTW.
